What to Read Before You Claim a Bonus

Start with wagering requirements

The most important number is the wagering multiplier, often shown as 35x or 50x. This tells you how many times you must bet the bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings. For example, a RM100 bonus with 35x wagering means you need to place RM3,500 in bets.

Lower multipliers are better. Anything above 40x becomes harder to clear, especially on slots alone. Also check if the wagering applies to the deposit plus bonus, or only the bonus. The answer should be clearly stated in the promotion terms.

Check game contribution percentages

Not all games count equally toward wagering. Slots usually count 100%, but table games like blackjack or baccarat may count only 10% or even 0%. If you prefer table games, a bonus with low slot contribution will be nearly impossible to clear.

The platform’s terms page lists these percentages. Look for a table or bullet points. If a game you play is excluded entirely, that bonus may not suit your style. Stick to offers where your preferred games contribute at least 50%.

Note the expiry date and minimum deposit

Every welcome bonus has a time limit, usually 7 to 30 days from the date you claim it. If you do not meet the wagering within that period, the bonus and any winnings are forfeited. Mark the deadline on your calendar or in your e-wallet notes.

Also check the minimum deposit amount. It is often RM30 or RM50. Depositing less than that means you get no bonus. In Malaysia, using Touch 'n Go or DuitNow for instant crediting is common, but always confirm the deposit method is accepted for the promotion.
